Official caught taking bribe

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths, on Tuesday, nabbed a line inspector of AP Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (APNPDCL) for taking bribe. K Arjun Rao, line inspector in Enkur mandal of Khammam, was caught at his residence taking Rs 3,000 from a person to forward an application for providing electricity to an agricultural pump, a release said.Engineer in ACB TrapA Deputy Executive Engineer of GHMC was trapped by ACB officials on Tuesday for taking Rs 50,000 as bribe. Brij Kishore Singh, the DEE of Begum Bazar division, was caught taking bribe from a civil contractor at his office.
