BANGALORE: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Siddaiah has stated that about 583 files, that were issued occupancy certificates by the Bangalore DevelopmentAuthoirity (BDA) should be brought back, as only Palike had the rights to collect compounding fees.
In a meeting with the Town planning department, it was stated that any building measuring 50/80 would require an occupancy certificate and compounding fees, which involves amenities like drains and roads.
