Order against NLC CMD stayed

CHENNAI: The operation of an order passed by the Special Court for CBI cases in Chennai against NLC chairman and MD A R Ansari and others, was stayed by the Madras High Court on Friday. Justice CT Selvam granted the stay, while admitting an appeal from Ansari. The complaint alleged that Ansari and others abused their powers causing loss to the NLC and the government. An aggrieved Ansari preferred the present appeal.
