Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Lucknow, as a result of which, the city has been transformed into a fortress. The security in the city has been beefed up and divided into seven stages, according to sources, with separate security arrangements at the Amausi airport, traffic routes, including the program site.
Twenty-six SP, 56 Additional SP, 143 CO, 229 Inspector, 1042 Sub-Inspectors, 168 Lady Sub Inspectors, 416 Head Constables, 3989 Constables have been deployed. Apart from these, 35 companies 1 Company PAC, Central Para Military Force, including 680 lady constables, 15 traffic inspectors, 217 Traffic Sub-Inspectors have been deployed.
In each security arrangement, an IPS officer has been made in charge. ADG Lucknow Zone Abhay Kumar Prasad has been made the nodal officer of the PM’s tour to Lucknow. The security has been beefed up for the first program of CDRI on June 20. In CDRI, 5 SP, 7 additional SP, 23 CO, 49 inspectors will be deployed. Apart from this, 4 companies of PAC, with 118 Sub-Inspectors, 30 Lady Sub-Inspectors and 387 constables, will be deployed.
Road safety will be taken care of separately. Two SP, 10 additional SP, 25 CO, 15 inspectors will protect the entire route. With them, 66 companies, five women, 885 soldiers and 5 company of PAC will be deployed. There will be 15 Ti, 217 traffic head constable and 755 traffic soldiers in the traffic.
After reaching CDRI, PM Modi will visit the Laboratory, along with the exhibition and plantation. PM Modi is expected to spend 40 minutes at CDRI before leaving for the second program at Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
At AKTU PM Modi will inaugurate the new wing of AKTU and then a 400KV DC Transmission Line. PM Modi will, then, leave for 5KD, the official residence of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Nearly 275 people are expected to turn up for the Dinner hosted in honour of PM Modi. Former Chief Ministers Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati have also been invited to the dinner.
Former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav has confirmed that he will be attending today's Lucknow dinner, to be hosted by UP CM in honour of PM Modi.
