Private Helicopter With 4 On Board Crashes In Pune Amid Heavy Rainfall; Captain Injured
A private helicopter crashed near Pune’s Paud village on Saturday. The chopper was en route to Mumbai’s Juhu with four people on board from Hyderabad. Out of the four people inside, three are in stable condition and one of them, the captain, was taken to a nearby hospital.

A private helicopter crashed near Pune’s Paud village on Saturday. The chopper was en route to Hyderabad and crashed after taking off from Mumbai’s Juhu with four people on board.

There have been no reports of deaths and one person has been hospitalised. The other three flyers are in stable condition.

Anand Captain, Deep Bhatia, Amardeep Singh and SP Ram were aboard the AW 139 model helicopter. Anand Captain has been hospitalised at a nearby medical facility.

“A private helicopter crashed near Paud village in Pune district. The helicopter belongs to a private aviation company. It was going from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Among the 4 people who were in the Helicopter, the captain sustained injuries and was hospitalised. The rest of the three persons are in stable condition,” Pankaj Deshmukh, Superintendent of Police, Pune Rural Police said.

The helicopter is owned by Global Vectra.
