After the interviews, the applications and marking sheets will be shifted to my camp office. We will give the appointment orders to the selected candidates after the interviews on August 18,” said the Collector.The interview was held on Tuesday to fill up 254 AWWs vacant posts out of 1,742 applicants.The morning session from 8 am was held for vacant posts of 134 AWWs in six blocks and the afternoon session was to select 120 AWWs out of 770 applicants from Kaveripakkam, Katpadi, Arcot, Pernambut and Kaniambadi blocks.On August 16, the interview would be for 2,171 applicants to recruit 370 persons for the posts of AWWs in Gudiyattam, Mathanur, Alangayam, Vellore Rural, Jolarpet, Arakkonam, Nemili, Anaicut, Walajapet, Tirupattur, Kandili and Natrampalli blocks.On August 17 and 18, interviews would be for the posts of 352 and 397 anganwadi helpers respectively, said the District Revenue Officer E Sundaravalli.first published:August 15, 2012, 11:52 ISTlast updated:August 15, 2012, 11:52 IST
