KOZHIKODE: Alleging a  high level conspiracy by the CPM leaders in the murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) leader T P Chandrasekharan, its leaders on Monday warned the CPM MLAs that if they touched the soil of Onchiyam, people would react against them. They added that it was ridiculous that the same people who thirsted for the blood of Chandrasekharan a few weeks ago were now taking out marches demanding the arrest of culprits behind the murder. The statement of RMP leaders came in the wake of the decision of LDF MLAs in the district to visit Onchiyam on Tuesday.  “TP’s days are counted’, was the slogan raised by the CPM during the Onchiyam Martyr’s Day observance organised by the party in Onchiyam on April 30. Now, they are conducting marches demanding the arrest of the culprits behind the murder of Chandrasekharan and it is highly ridiculous,” said RMP Acting Secretary, N Venu. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the RMP leaders said that the conspiracy to eliminate Chandrasekharan was hatched in the Kannur Central Prison as the CPM leadership worried the growth of the Left Co-ordination Committee in the state and outside. They alleged that the quotation gang had executed the murder for money and that was with the knowledge of the CPM leadership,” added Venu. Eliminating those who raise their voice against the party is the policy of CPM secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, who is enjoying a brutal majority in party committees, he alleged. Chandrsekharan laid a foundation and we will take the flag he handed over to us forward, added Venu.Left Co-ordination committee president K S Hariharan said that CPM could not eliminate RMP by the murder of Chandrasekharan. “As a martyr,  Chandrasekharan is far stronger than he was alive”. He alleged that the CPM murdered Muslim League activist Shukkoor in the midst of crucial Piravom bypoll and the murder of T P was also with the knowledge of the CPM central leadership.  The RMP leaders demanded that the CPM should explain why Elamaram Kareem MLA met Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. The Left Co-ordination Committee will take out a massive rally against the political violence and mafia politics on May 11 in Onchiyam. A convention will also hold in Kozhikode on May 12.
