HYDERABAD: With conflicting signals emanating from Delhi, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has decided to intensify its agitation for Telangana.The immediate programme is Sakala Janula Samme, a strike by employees of the state government and state public sector undertakings.The employees have already served notice on the government that they will go on strike from any day after August 1. The TJAC is planning to intensify the agitation from August 15 though the agitation will begin after August 1.TJAC’s steering and programme committees have come up with an action plan for Sakala Janula Samme and will announce it after due discussion at the TJAC general body meeting.The programme mainly aims at muzzling the government by blocking revenue flow to the exchequer.The organisers are also planning to create road blocks on the national highways all over the region. Besides, they will organise rail roko to draw the attention of the national and international media. The programme will be carried out on the lines of the ‘Non-Cooperation Movement'.Another highlight of the programme will be disruption of the businesses of Seemandhra leaders who are actively involved in blocking formation of Telangana state.
