Seven die in roof collapse during wedding ceremony

At least six persons were killed and 12 others were injured when the roof of a house collapsed on Friday during a wedding ceremony in Tankupi village here, police said.

The roof where the rituals were being observed was overcrowded. The victims were either on the roof or in the room below, Deputy Superintendent of Police Daudnagar Mohammad Javed said.

The injured were taken to Hashpura referral hospital and the deceased were yet to be identified, he said.
