Single-day verification held in schools

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A single day verification to assess student strength was held in aided and government schools in the state on Tuesday, except in Alappuzha district and areas under the Balussery AEO in Kozhikode district owing to local hartals.The verification process was to crosscheck the statistics on student strength prepared on the basis of the headcount conducted by the General Education Department.
