THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Joint Council of State Services Organisations has informed that the state employees will go into protest mode from May 24, raising various demands. The demands include clearing of anomalies in pay revision, implementation of Pay Commission recommendations, withdrawal of PFRDA Bill, correction of policies of Centre and State Governments that pave the way for inflammation and ending of corruption and communal influences in transfer of employees. The employees will resort to a march and dharna on May 24 as a protest against the UDF Government which has refused to solve the anomalies in pay revision or issue orders on allowances such as LTC as recommended by Pay Commission even after being in power for one year. The march and dharna will be inaugurated by former minister Benoy Viswam.
