Three children drown in a pond

Three children were drowned in a pond near Nandanpahar in Deogarh district, police said on Tuesday.

While two bodies were fished out during the day, the other one was found on Monday night, Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Prasad said.

After the children didn't return home yesterday, a search was conducted and their clothes and two cycles were found near the pond while one body was seen floating, he said.
