New Delhi: It seems like the blessings of Lord Shiva and Bollywood stars have worked for Tiger Shroff, who made his acting debut with 'Heropanti'. The film, which is a remake of 2008 'Parugu', minted almost Rs 36 crore in the first week.
"'Heropanti' closes week 1 with an Rs 35.91 cr net. Emerges a SMASH HIT," trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter on Friday.
Tiger's dancing skills and action stunts were talk of the town much before the Sabbir Khan directorial released May 23.
Presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the team even threw a success party Sunday.
The 24-year-old son of actor Jackie Shroff, a devotee of Lord Shiva, was also said to visit Babulnath temple in Mumbai Monday.
'Heropanti' served as the launch pad for new actress Kriti Sanon as well.
