HYDERABAD: In a breakthrough, police on Wednesday arrested two persons involved in killing of TDP leader K Chandrasekhar Reddy.Another person, who was also involved, is still at large.While producing the arrested persons before media on Wednesday, police said the investigation revealed that property disputes led to the killing of Chandrasekhar Reddy.The accused are - Sriramulu, a history sheeter of KPHB police station and his associate Pasha Vali, a native of Guntur and third accused Venkatesh Babu, a local TD leader from Kukatpally, who is absconding.Kukatpally ACP PV Padmaja said Sriramulu, who was a friend of the deceased, has decided to purchase a 200-yard plot in Miyapur from Chandrasekhar Reddy.As per the deal, Sriramulu paid Rs 2 lakh initially and gave the remaining Rs 3 lakh in cheques.Though Sriramulu paid the total amount, the deceased did not register the property in his name.When Sriramulu tried talking to him the deceased started avoiding him.Suspecting that he was duped, Sriramulu decided to kill him.Venkatesh, a local TD leader who had political rivalry with Reddy, instigated Sriramulu to go ahead.After hatching a plan, Sriramulu also called his friend Vali from Guntur.“Sriramulu invited Reddy to his flat at KPHB to discuss the plot.Arguments ensued and Sriramulu broke a beer bottle on Reddy's head and the trio slit his throat with a knife.They stuffed him in a gunny bag and abandoned him near Malaysian township,'' police said
