Two thieves nabbed

ALUVA: The police nabbed two thieves who were seen under suspicious circumstances near Malabar Gramin Bank on Market Road here in the wee hours of Saturday. The arrested are Shaji of Kulathipuzha, Kollam, and Shibu of Chammaniyodeth, Valappe, Njarakkal.  On questioning, the police found that Shaji was accused in three theft cases under the Aluva police station limits. He was involved in stealing Rs 16,000 from the office of the Kalady Temple and in the Piravam Pazhoor Temple theft case.
