The country is planning to target Saeed's brother-in-law Abdul Rahman Makki.

New Delhi: The United States is turning the screws on Pakistan by directly targeting the inner circle of most wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed.

Saeed, the founder of Lashkar-e-Toiba, is also the mastermind of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai which left 166 people dead.

US has decided to move UN Sanctions Committee 1267 to proscribe Saeed's aides. The country is planning to target Saeed's brother-in-law Abdul Rahman Makki. Makki is widely believed to handle Saeed's finances and carries a $2 million bounty on his head.

US has said that world can't afford another Mumbai-style attack. It also wants China to end blocking of LeT listing in United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
