Poet Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri has bagged this year’s Vayalar Rama Varma Literary Award instituted by Vayalar Rama Varma Memorial Trust for his work ‘Anthimahakalam.’
The award comprising Rs 25,000, a statuette and a citation, will be presented to him on October 27, the death anniversary of Vayalar Rama Varma, at a function to be held in the Senate Hall here. Trust president Prof M K Sanu announced the award here on Saturday.
