New Delhi: Harvinder Singh, a resident of Rohini in Delhi, slapped Union Minister and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar while shouting slogans against price rise and corruption cases on Thursday.
Singh was later arrested by the police and taken to Parliament Street Police Station.
When asked why did he attack Pawar, he said he was angry with the Union Agriculture Minister over rising prices and corruption in the government.
"The prices for all essential commodities have risen. Anna ji requested for Lokpal but it did not work out. I'm not a terrorist as a terrorist would never take such a step. I'm fed up of all the corrupt ministers involved in various scams," said Singh.
Singh claimed to be the same person who attacked former telecom minister Sukhram at Rohini court on Saturday.
Singh is a tempo driver and is reported to be on medicines for the past eight years for depression and signs of anxiousness.
