Woman, 2 others held for robbery

HYDERABAD: Three persons, including a woman, were arrested on Sunday for luring passengers into their auto and later robbing them of valuables. According to police, the gang used to threaten the victim that they would lodge a complaint against the latter for engaging the woman for flesh trade and not paying money. The gang comprised of 35yearold Surekha, auto driver E Rajesh Kumar and P Bhaskar. Surekha would approach people at Secunderabad railway station and lure them to travel in the auto of Rajesh Kumar. Midway, Bhaskar also joined them and they took the victim to an isolated place and robbed him. On November 3, they robbed a native of Nizambad, Mohammed Maqsood, who came to the city for an interview, near Bapuji Nagar graveyard.
