BTS: Kim Taehyung Breaks Internet With Beefed Up Selfie, Sneaks Into ARMY Group Chat, Read His Texts

BTS singer V aka Kim Taehyung took the internet by storm on Sunday. The Winter Bear singer is currently completing his military training. However, he took a quick break to go online and gatecrashed a Kakao group chat hosted by BTS fans. The singer greeted his fans but the fandom did not believe him. TaeTae dropped a selca (selfie) in the group chat to prove it truly was him.

In the photo, Taehyung was seen wearing his military uniform and showing off his beefed up muscles. The photo was taken in the lift, on the seventh floor. It appeared as a nod to the OT7. After sharing the photo, more people joined in.

“Whoa, there are so many people now!” he messaged in the group. After checking in on the fans, he excused himself from the chat. “But it seems like there’s waaay too much, like 90,000 messages. Take care, everyone! I’ll drop by again. I gotta go work out now!” he said.

BTS singer V’s military service began on December 11, 2023 when he and BTS leader RM started their mandatory military duty. Other members of BTS, such as Jimin and Jungkook, then did the same. It is now anticipated that Jin will finish his duty in June 2024, along with SUGA and J-Hope, as they complete their enlistment responsibilities. V completed basic training as an active-duty soldier and is currently assigned to the 2nd Division Military Police Corps. Earlier this year, the first images of the Special Duty Team (SDT)’s black counterterrorism suit. He won much praise online.
