BTS V, Actor Yoo Seung-ho To Appear On Running Man Reality Show Together: Report

South Korea’s popular reality television show — Running Man is up for a fresh new spin. Since its inception in 2010, the show has garnered much love and appreciation from the viewers. In the show, celebrity contestants participate in a fun task-oriented competition. The trophy is lifted by the one who accomplishes all the missions and passes the obstacles by evading punishments. Recently, there has been a report that the upcoming episode of Running Man will feature two special guests. They are — K-pop boy band BTS member V and actor Yoo Seung-ho. The speculation was confirmed by News1 on November 20, taking fans into a frenzy.

According to the News1 report V and Yoo Seung-ho will participate in the Running Man together for the upcoming episode. While the duo will commence the filming schedule on November 20, the broadcast of the show is scheduled for December 3. Although both V and Yoo Seung-ho have been a part of Running Man earlier, it is the first time that the two celebrities will be seen together on the small screen. The Slow Dancing singer previously appeared on Running Man’s broadcast show on September 10 while The Way Home actor made a guest appearance at the reality show on October 8, reports Soompi.

Speculations that V and Yoo Seung-ho will make a joint appearance in Running Man were first spread by South Korean rapper and singer Haha. On the October 8 broadcast when Yoo Seung-ho played the character of a con artist in the show, Haha revealed, “Seung ho is adapting incredibly quickly, let’s call Yoo Seung-ho and V and do a special episode,” suggesting a special ‘Tazza’ (card shark) episode”, as cited by All K-pop. Later on in the October 22 broadcast, Haha hinted that V has also “sent a message” admitting that he is eager to make an appearance on Running Man soon.

The BTS Army and fans of Yoo Seung-ho were left thrilled as soon as the announcement was made public. They expressed their anticipation about the duo’s collab on social media. “Happiness on the way” noted one user. “This is so exciting. Can’t wait to see you again Taehyung on Running Man,” came another remark. “Most handsome actor & idol,” wrote a third individual.

The Running Man is broadcast on the SBS variety program every Sunday from 6:20 pm in the evening.
