Chennai: It was in 2010 that Goundamani suffered a major setback on the professional front when 'Pollachi Mapillai' opened to a lukewarm response at the box office despite receiving favourable reviews. Now, nearly five years later, the actor is back with '49-O'. Touted as a political-comedy, the movie has been directed by P Arokiyadoss. It also features Chaams and Rajendran in pivotal roles.
