Anurag Kashyap writes an honest post after the debacle of 'Bombay Velvet', says he won't quit making films
The director, in his own way, owns up to the film's disaster and states it is time to move on.

Anurag Kashyap's latest 'Bombay Velvet' may not have got the most appealing response from the audience, but the director's latest post on Facebook is surely admirable. The director, in his own way, owns up to the film's disaster and states it is time to move on.

Thanking all those who were involved in the making of 'Bombay Velvet', Kashyap says, "Bombay Velvet has been worth all the heart ache and pain and a memory to cherish for life." The director adds, "Maybe our experimenting with the narrative didn't work for most but I firmly believe in the film."

Post the film's release, many thought that Kashyap would quit making films because of the debacle but Kashyap, in his post, also clarifies that he has no such plans. " Films is what I breathe, what I live for, does not matter where I go and where I stay , I will only make films , and no I am not done with making films in and about my country, rest is just a little detour. none of you need to worry about me."

Its time to close the book and move on. its been a journey, as if one life is over with Bombay Velvet. a lot of people...Posted by Anurag Kashyap on Sunday, May 17, 2015
