Former South Indian actress Bhamaa took the internet by storm due to her views on marriages.

Former South Indian actress Bhamaa has made headlines after posting a thought-provoking message on her Instagram, where she raised questions about the necessity of marriage. She went on to discuss traditional beliefs related to marriage, dowry, and other related topics. Bhamaa’s cryptic message has attracted considerable attention, especially as it emerges amid rumors regarding her separation from her husband, Arun Jagadish.

Rekhitha R. Kurup, popularly known as Bhamaa, has stirred up controversy with her recent Instagram post about marriage. In her latest message, the actress posed provocative questions regarding the institution of marriage and questioned traditional perspectives on marriage, dowry, and women’s roles within their in-laws’ households.

In relation to this, Bhamaa stated,

“Do we women really need marriage? No! No one should get married by giving away their money. What happens if they abandon you? They will drive you to suicide after taking away your money!! A woman should never marry. You wouldn’t have any idea how that person is even going to treat you. From a place that may drive you to take your own life, you must soon…”

Subsequently, the actress provided a clarification in another post. Bhamaa stated, “What I meant in my post was that women should not marry by paying dowry. It did not mean don’t get married. Hope you understand the idea of what is written.”

While her message was left unfinished, it has ignited considerable conversation on social media. Bhamaa’s Instagram post surfaced amid rumors surrounding her personal life, particularly after she deleted images and references to her husband Arun Jagadish from her profiles.

Although she hasn’t directly addressed the topic of divorce, the actress has previously mentioned being a single mother. Accompanied by photos of her daughter, Bhamaa expressed, “I never knew how strong I was until I became a single mother, and being strong was the only choice I had.”

For those who may not know, Bhamaa and Arun Jagadish tied the knot in 2020, after which the actress paused her career in the film industry. The former couple shares a daughter named Gauri. Though Bhamaa regularly posted pictures of her family on social media, Arun’s sudden disappearance from her posts has sparked even more speculation about a potential divorce.
