Game of Thrones Episode 4: Star India Suspected Behind Spoils of War Leak
Only an investigation can reveal if it was Star India due to which Episode 4 was leaked online or it’s the hacker group that has made claims via several emails to Variety.

Game of Thrones Episode 4 Spoils of War from Season 7 was leaked online earlier on Friday, two days before its official release on HBO on Sunday Night. However, as per The Verge, it has been learnt that the hackers behind the GOT Season 7 Episode 4 are not the same who attacked HBO servers earlier this week. According to The Verge, sources close to the HBO’s security breach told that a leak from distribution partner Star India is the source behind the leaked online streaming of Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4.

Star India spokesperson had confirmed to The Verge that the security breach happened earlier on Thursday afternoon. "This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon. We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner’s end to swiftly determine the cause. This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action."

The leaked episode showed Star India watermark throughout and according to Smartprix, the ‘Spoils of War’ was spotted on Star India’s official website, from where someone might have downloaded it and uploaded on Reddit. However in an email to Variety, a hacker group took the claim of Episode 4 leak and added that it will leak more episodes every week as it managed to steal 1.5TB data from HBO's Servers.
