Triptii Dimri is a perfect example of how a single film can make you a star overnight in Bollywood. After starting her career with an insignificant role in Sridevi-starrer Mom, the actress is now one of the leading choices for the producers in the Hindi film industry. Despite putting decent performances in out-of-the-box films like Laila Majnu, Qala and Bulbbul, the actress remained under the covers for six years until the situation changed when Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal was released in 2023. The actress played a brief role in the film. It was enough to create a breakthrough for her in Bollywood. She played the role of Zoya Riaz, a love interest of Ranbir Kapoor, also referred to as ‘Bhabhi 2’ in the film. It was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film became the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2023. Today, the actress is on a roll with projects like Dhadak 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video in her kitty. Triptii Dimri who is now a lucky charm for producers started her career with a Sunny Deol film.

As per the records, Triptii Dimri started her acting career as an extra in Sridevi’s Mom. It was directed by Ravi Udyawar. Even though the film was a blockbuster at the box office, Triptii Dimri’s name didn’t reach producers. She stood in audition lines again to land a breakthrough role in the film. Not after so long, Tripti Dimri was selected for a significant role in Sunny Deol’s Poster Boys. It was the directorial debut of Shreyas Talpade. Apart from Sunny, the film starred Bobby Deol, Shreyas Talpade, Sonali Kulkarni and Samikssha Bhatnagar in lead roles. The film was a failure at the box office. During a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actress admitted that her first film flopped badly due to her lack of acting skills.

After this, the actress was seen in the films Laila Majnu, Qala, and Bulbbul. Triptii Dimri used to cry at home during the shooting of Laila Majnu as she was not able to deliver good performances. From not knowing the basics of acting in her debut film to headlines in high-budget Dharma Productions films in Bollywood, the actress Triptii Dimri sure has come a long way.
