Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set to return soon. While netizens are eagerly waiting for their dose of entertainment and laughter, it has now been reported that the first episode of Kapil’s show has been leaked online. As reported by Telly Chakkar, an episode from the upcoming season of TGIKS is now available online.
A clip from the episode has also gone viral on social media. It shows Triptii Dimri entering the stage as she grooves to the song ‘Hare Ram Hare Krishna’. She then hugs Kartik Aaryan. Vidya Balan can also be seen in the video. The three stars will be promoting their upcoming movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on Kapil’s show.
The second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show will premiere on Netflix on September 21. The upcoming season will be graced by several celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar. Members of the winning T20 Indian cricket team will also make an appearance in the show with their captain, Rohit Sharma.
Talking about TGIKS 2, Sunil Grover recently told IANS, “The format is similar in the second season, and is an extension of season 1. But, we are presenting new characters, new guests, our clothes will be more colourful this time around. Also, Archana ji has got a new stylist in the new season. Thoda show ameer ho gaya hai, so we are also rich (laughs)”.
Archana Puran Singh, who will also be returning with TGIKS 2, also added, “Something new, something similar, that’s what season 2 of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is all about. See, we need to understand it’s a massy show, we can’t change the content or the format of the show entirely because then the viewers will feel that the show has lost its soul. We have to work within those boundaries. But, I promise this season is going to be bigger, bolder and funnier.”
