Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has revealed his current relationship status in an interview with the publication Kerala Kaumudi. The actor, who got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Thanuja in January 2024, announced that he is single again.
He said," I was in a relationship. It’s over now. It has been proven once again that a relationship cannot be sustained because it makes life more difficult for both parties. You can’t just stay with someone cause you like them. In that case, I end up hurting them more. We were very much in love, but it became toxic."
“This condition cannot be maintained forever and then I would be unable to control myself," he added. According to the Kurup actor, a lot is lost in a relationship, because it completely diverts your attention.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chacko is anticipating the release of his upcoming film Thaanara directed by Haridas. This film, penned by Raffi, will be released at the cinemas on August 9. It boasts an ensemble star cast starring Chacko, Chinnu Chandni Nair, Deepti Sati, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Aju Varghese and others. One Day Films has produced the movie.
The makers dropped the film’s much-awaited trailer on July 11, 2024. The trailer gives glimpses of some funny sequences from the film, showing the brilliant camaraderie between the actors. The video has until now garnered a staggering 1 million views on YouTube.
After the trailer release, the audience is currently waiting for the film with great anticipation as the trailer entertains the audience with interesting scenes. Gopi Sundar has composed the film’s music, while BK Harinarayanan has penned the lyrics. Vishnu Narayanan has handled the film’s cinematography.
Shine Tom Chacko last acted in the Malayalam romantic comedy film Little Hearts. Aby Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Pereira directed this film while Rajesh Pinnadan wrote it. Sandra Thomas Productions produced it. The film features Shane Nigam and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles.
