The actress was most recently seen in the film Bad Newz along with Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

Neha Dhupia has been a known face in the industry for several years, but even she has faced her share of challenges throughout her career. In a recent interview, she shed light on the current workings of the industry and revealed that she often receives opportunities from unexpected sources. Although she made her debut with the Telugu film Ninne Ishtapaddanu in 2003, Neha disclosed that she now finds more work coming from the South Indian film industry than Bollywood.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Neha Dhupia said, “I have been struggling for 22 years to associate myself with interesting pieces of cinema. Sometimes they do well at the box office, sometimes they find a smaller audience. I have done Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Mithya, A Thursday, and more so it is great that people come to me and say, this is great, we liked you in this’. So It is very important to put your work out.”

The actress also revealed that she has recently received two consecutive offers from the South Indian film industry, requiring her for a three-month commitment. She mentioned, “I got two offers back to back from down South and they asked me for three months, but I can’t recall the last time I received a Hindi film offer.”

Neha Dhupia also noted that the film industry is currently facing its own struggles, so actively seeking work is not a negative thing. She was last seen in Bad Newz, alongside Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. Directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, the film was released on July 19. Recently, Neha shared a behind-the-scenes clip with her Bad Newz co-stars on Instagram, captioning the video, “It’s never not fun with this crazy bunch …. #maacorona ki kasam mazaa aa gaya.”
