Parvati Nair BREAKS Silence On Worker's Abuse Claim: 'I Endured Harassment; He Threatened To Kill Me'
Parvati Nair said that the claims made by Subash are false and alleged that he attempted to extort money from her.

Actress Parvati Nair, who was recently seen in Thalapathy Vijay-led GOAT, is being investigated for allegedly abusing a worker, Subhash. A case was registered against the actress after a complaint was filed by Subhash, who previously worked as a helper at KJR Studios and Nair’s residence. Parvati Nair has broken her silence on the matter in a statement she shared on social media.

Nair’s statement read, “I have endured a prolonged and distressing period of harassment for the past two years, following a theft at my residence in October 2022… Valuable items worth Rs 18 lakh were stolen from my home, and I promptly filed a police complaint. The case was registered against four individuals, one of whom was Mr Subash… Upon learning of the complaint, Mr Subash demanded his name be removed from the list of accused individuals, threatening retaliation should I refuse.”

The actress accused Subhash of filing a fake case against her and wrote, “Within weeks of this incident, and just a day after being dismissed from the production company, Mr Subash filed a fabricated counter-complaint against me and others, misleading the media to spread false and damaging claims about me, tarnishing my reputation. He further violated my privacy by distributing unpublished photographs of mine to the press, continuing his campaign of harassment.”

“I filed another case against him for these violations, and he was remanded to judicial custody and now a final report has been filed by the police and the proceeding is pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate – XIV, Egmore.

Additionally, I filed a civil suit for defamation before the Hon’ble City Civil Court, and the Honourable Court granted an interim injunction on 19.01.2023 restraining Mr Subash and anyone else (including the press) from speaking/publishing/republishing anything against me or distributing such materials to the media that would defame my image in the film industry…,” Nair mentioned.

Nair also accused Subhash of violating this injunction and spreading a false narrative that she discriminated against him because of his caste. ” I want to categorically state that I do not discriminate or differentiate on the basis of caste. In fact, I was completely unaware of Mr. Subash’s caste until I received this notice,” she clarified.

The actress mentioned in her statement that Subash not only attempted to extort Rs 1 crore from her but also “threatened to kill me in his earlier communication with the production house”. Nair said that this has taken a toll on her mental health and she thanked her well-wishers for their support.

For the unversed, items like a watch, a laptop, a camera and a mobile phone went missing from Nair’s place, during Subash’s tenure. She then filed a complaint against the helper alleging theft. He then made shocking claims against the actress and filed a complaint alleging that he was abused by the actress.
