Ahead of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' big fat Indian wedding in Jodhpur, The Sky Is Pink director Shonali Bose has posted an emotional message for the actress on Instagram. Congratulating Priyanka on her “wedding day”, Shonali wrote, “I form a deep umbilical cord between me and my actors for them to perform the difficult things I require them to - rendering them emotionally naked. Very quickly I formed an intense one with you my darling Pri.”
She went on to write, “so, tonight on the eve of such a massive life altering journey that you are to embark on - I am feeling quite misty eyed. You were courageous enough to shoot such heart wrenching things with me mere days before of the happiest days of your life. I will be ever grateful for that. Happy wedding day sweetheart. And all the very best for this new leg of life. See you very soon back on set as Ms PCJ.”
Priyanka recently concluded the shooting schedule of The Sky Is Pink in Delhi. The film's team also congratulated the actress with a little surprise. A pre-wedding party was organised for the Priyanka and Nick on the sets of the film. The couple also cut a cake and popped some champagne with the core team of her upcoming film.
The countdown is officially on for Priyanka Nick to exchange vows, and say "I Do" at Jodhpur's royal Umaid Bhawan Palace. The pre-wedding festivities for the power couple, who has been on a celebration spree ever since they kicked off their respective bachelorettes, began on Friday with a Sangeet ceremony. Their friends and family turned out in fabulous style for the function.
Designer Sabyasachi, Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her son Ahil, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and their daughter Isha were among the first guests to reach Jodhpur for Nickyanka wedding.
