After introducing his character on Twitter, Ajay Devgn shared the trailer of his upcoming film Raid. Ajay plays Amay Patnaik, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow. He's the kind of officer, who is a stickler for honesty and has been transferred 49 times in the span of his 7-year-long career. And continues to stand with the righteous even if it means another transfer.

Set in 1981, the film revolves around his struggles to put up an honest fight and expose the offenders despite encountering corrupt, powerful officials at every step. Ajay took to Twitter to share the trailer. Heroes Don't Always Come In Uniform," he wrote adding the release date of the film.

The film has been directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who has previously helmed Aamir and No One Killed Jessica. The film, also starring Ileana D'Cruz, Rajkumar Gupta and Saurabh Shukla in key roles, is slated to release on March 16.
