Rashmika Mandanna Denies Rumours Of Fee Hike After Animal: 'If My Producers Ask Why...'

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was released earlier in December last year. The film became a superhit soon after its release and fans appreciated the stellar acting of the film’s cast. Animal was headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and featured Rashmika Mandanna as his wife, Geetanjali. Rashmika’s performance in the film was greatly appreciated by the audience. There were also rumours that the actress had increased her fee after Animal’s success. However, she has denied these claims.

A post on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, claimed, “BUZZ⚠️ #RashmikaMandanna Increased her Remuneration again after #Animal success From inside reports, Currently she’s charging around 4Cr – 4.5cr per film.” The actress took to the comments section to deny this. “Says who I wonder ‍♀️.. after seeing all of this I think I should actually consider it.. and if my producers ask why.. then I’ll just say ‘media out there is saying this sir.. and I think I should live up to their words.. what do I do?’ ‍♀️,” she wrote.

After Animal became a massive blockbuster hit, Rashmika took to her Instagram handle and spoke about her character in the film. She also expressed her gratitude to the audience. “Gitanjali ️If I were to describe her in a sentence… it would be the only force at home holding her family together. ✨She is pure, real, unfiltered, strong and raw…At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions… And I remember my director telling me – this was their story… Ranvijay’s & Gitanjali’s.. it was their love and passion, their families and their lives – this is who they are,” Rashmika wrote.
