Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are close friends who have worked together in several films. They were last seen together on screen when Salman made a special appearance in a song in the 2012 film, Son of Sardaar. However, if the latest reports are to be believed, they are all set for a screen reunion.
“Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are both fond of each other and were keen to work on a project together. However, it has been informed that Salman-Sanjay will reunite for a musical project. It is a special song for which Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have been approached for,” Times Now quoted a source as saying.
The report mentioned that there are “high chances” that Salman and Sanjay will be seen dancing together in AP Dhillon’s music video. It further stated that they are currently holding meetings at Salman’s farmhouse in Panvel to discuss the project. However, details about the project are currently under wraps.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has started shooting for his next film Sikandar. The actor recently shared the first photo from the set which immediately went viral. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as the leading lady. As fans eagerly wait for its release, which is slated to be unveiled on Eid 2025, it has come to news that Sathyaraj has also joined the team.
According to a report, the first schedule of Sikandar’s shooting in Mumbai was wrapped up recently. The filming concluded with a major action sequence featuring Salman Khan at the Taj Lands End in Bandra. A source revealed to Mid Day that Salman was filming a crucial action scene with actor Prateik Babbar at the Chitrakoot Grounds, involving a plane and a specially created exterior set.
After completing the action set piece at Taj Lands End on Monday, the team will take a one-and-a-half-month break to allow for the construction of a new set at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon, expected to take about 45 days. The next filming schedule is planned for August, with AR Murugadoss’ team carefully planning to utilise the monsoon season for set construction. This upcoming schedule will involve filming action sequences and crowd-heavy scenes over a 40-day period.
Sikandar represents AR Murugadoss’s highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following Akira (2016). This film also reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, a duo known for their blockbuster successes such as Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
