The eagerly awaited film L Jagadamma Ezhaam Class B State First, starring the renowned actress Urvashi, has successfully concluded its shooting schedule. Produced by Everstar Indians in collaboration with Fossil Holdings, the film was filmed in and around the picturesque town of Kottarakkara in Kerala, with the actress taking on the titular role of Jagadamma.
This film marks the directorial debut of Urvashi’s husband, Shivaprasad, who has also written the story and screenplay. Despite the intriguing title, specific details about the plot and characters have been kept under wraps. Industry insiders suggest that L Jagadamma Ezhaam Class B State First is a women-centric film, that emphasises the perspectives and experiences of women. Urvashi, known for her skill in bringing characters to life, is expected to deliver a standout performance as Jagadamma.
The cast features a mix of seasoned actors and over fifty talented newcomers, including Kalesh Ramanand, Balachandran Chullikad, Jayan Cherthala, Kalabhavan Prajod, Rajesh Sharma, Kishore, Nobby, VK Baiju, PR Pradeep, Rashmi Anil, Shailaja Ambu, Jibin Gopinath, Anjali Satyanath, Indulekha and many others.
The cinematography is skillfully handled by Anil Nair, and the music, featuring lyrics by Harinarayanan, is composed by Kailas Menon. The behind-the-scenes team includes Shaijal as the editor, Saravanan as the executive producer, Shafi Chemmad as the production controller, Rejiwan Abdul Basheer as the chief associate director, and Rajesh Menon overseeing art direction. Costumes are curated by Kumar Edapal and makeup is helmed by Hassan Vandoor. The production team includes Sreekuttan Dhanesan as the production executive and Adarsh Sundar as the production manager.
Urvashi, a well-known actor in Malayalam and Tamil cinema with a growing Telugu fan base, recently appeared in the crime thriller Rani: The Real Story, portraying the character Sheela. Her compelling lead role in the drama film from Charles Enterprises has garnered substantial acclaim, directed by Subhash Lalitha Subrahmanian and featuring prominent performances by Kalaiyarasan and Balu Varghese.
