Vahnikula Kshatriya Community Demands Jaggesh Apologise To Varthur Santosh For 'Tiger Claw' Remark
Leaders of the Vahnikula Kshatriya community have expressed their disapproval of Jaggesh's remarks.

The long-standing tiger claw case, which had somewhat faded from attention in the Kannada film industry, has resurfaced with a new interest. Actor and Rajya Sabha member Jaggesh’s recent statement about Bigg Boss contestant Varthur Santosh has reignited discussions around the case. Leaders of the Vahnikula Kshatriya community have expressed their disapproval of Jaggesh’s remarks, stating that criticising the youth of their community was inappropriate. They demand an apology from Jaggesh to Varthur Santhosh, warning of further action if not received. Following a protest outside his residence, they have threatened to besiege his house.

During the press conference for the movie Ranganayaka, Jaggesh made a statement implying, “There’s someone who, like the son of a tiger, tried to imitate a tiger by wearing its claw and ended up getting caught on television.” It’s widely known who took part in such a television program and was subsequently apprehended by forest officials.

As a reply to Jaggesh statement, a viral video on social media features a warning directed at Jaggesh from Narayana Swami, a city council member and leader of the Vahnikula Kshatriya Samayudaya.

“Santhosh is widely regarded as a person of integrity, known for his kind-hearted nature, treating even the youngest with respect as if they were his siblings. Criticizing individuals of such character reflects poorly on one’s own values and treatment of others. An apology is expected from you; failure to do so will result in our peaceful protest, including a potential siege of your residence”, Narayana Swami said.

“Furthermore, if an apology is not issued, Varthur Santhosh’s supporters may feel compelled to take action. Santhosh hails from a respected Kshatriya family, and derogatory remarks about him are unwarranted. It’s puzzling why you would resort to such language, particularly against someone from the Vahnikula Kshatriya community. Can you explain your actions”, he added.

Seeing all this, Varthur Santosh reacted, “We don’t have to talk about this all the time. Sometimes it is enough to sit still without talking and silence will be the answer”.
