War 2: Hrithik Roshan's Epic Sword Battle With Villain To SHOCK Fans, Full Details Inside

The anticipation for ‘War 2’ is reaching new heights as it gears up for release exactly a year from now. The film, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, has fans buzzing, thanks to its star-studded cast and the immense popularity of the YRF Spy Universe. While the makers have kept the production under wraps, some intriguing details have emerged.

One of the most exciting revelations is Hrithik Roshan’s breathtaking entry scene. Reports suggest that he will engage in a thrilling sword fight with a formidable villain in a Japanese monastery. Initially, it was speculated that this scene would take place in a Shaolin Temple, but it has now been confirmed that this epic battle will serve as his introduction in the film. Shot in March, this sequence was the brainchild of producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji, who realized that the franchise had yet to explore the Orient. As a result, a grand 300-year-old heritage monastery set was constructed at YRF Studios in Mumbai. To prepare for this role, Hrithik not only trained extensively in martial arts but also mastered the art of wielding a katana, a traditional Japanese sword.

Adding to the excitement, it’s been reported that ‘War 2’ will feature a dance number that will undoubtedly set the screen on fire. Following the success of ‘War’ (2019), where Hrithik and Tiger Shroff danced to ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ despite being rivals, the sequel will see Hrithik and Jr NTR sharing the dance floor. Both actors, known for their exceptional dance skills, are expected to deliver a performance reminiscent of the electrifying energy seen in ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ and Jr NTR’s Oscar-winning ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are known for their dance moves. Interestingly, both were recently seen in two-hero films – Hrithik in War and Jr NTR in RRR (2022). And both films had two hero dance numbers that were unanimously loved (Jr NTR shook a leg with Ram Charan in the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’). For War 2, they both come together and hence, one can expect fireworks on the big screen during their number. It’ll be like ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ meeting ‘Naatu Naatu’!”

‘War 2’ is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster ‘War’, which starred Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, a RAW agent has gone rogue, and action star Tiger Shroff in dual roles. The film was directed by Siddharth Anand, who is known for ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Fighter’.
