The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday summoned actor Ranbir Kapoor as part of its investigation into the Mahadev online betting app scam, in which four people have been arrested from Chhattisgarh. News18 had on September 19 reported how 17 Bollywood stars were under the scanner in the scam. According to ED sources, apart from Kapoor, more than a dozen A-listers, including Bollywood, Tollywood actors and sportspersons, are on their radar. Kapoor is the highest paid among these people and he advertised for the app on social media.

Actor Jr NTR broke into the pan-India scene in a grand manner with SS Rajamouli’s RRR last year. Since then, fans have been awaiting his next project with bated breath, not only in the Telugu states but all over India. His upcoming film Devara, which was previously referred to as NTR30, is now the focus of attention. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is about a fishing town and has Jr NTR in dual roles. Shah Rukh Khan’s Swades co-star Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi were reportedly involved in a major car accident which left an elderly couple dead. The tragic accident took place in Italy. Gayatri confirmed the news of accident to Free Press Journal and said that she and her husband were doing “absolutely fine”. According to media reports, it was a multiple-car collision in Sardinia. “Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here… With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine,” she was quoted as saying by the portal.
