Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram Are Now Married; Video From Meitei Ceremony in Manipur Goes Viral

Randeep Hooda are Lin Laishram tied the sacred knot today. The lovebirds had a traditional Meitei ceremony in Imphal. It was an intimate affair with close friends and family in attendance. A video of the same from their wedding is going viral on social media. ANI shared the same and wrote, “Actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are tying the knot in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal, Manipur today. Visuals from Chumthang Shannapung resort in Imphal venue where the wedding rituals are taking place.”

For the ceremony, Randeep was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, Lin on the other hand looked pretty in blue netted saree.

Earlier, the couple was spotted at a temple visit in Imphal, Manipur, to seek blessings as they embarked on this new journey. In the latest, one of their friends released a series of pre-wedding festivities pictures that feature the bride, groom, and their wedding party.

The series of photos shared on Instagram showed Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram posing with their friends and family while all of them donned matching red and black shawls. In one of the pictures, all of them could be seen enjoying a lavish feast. “Pre wedding glimpse ! Lin & Randeep,” read the caption.

The couple also sought blessings at a temple in Heingang, Imphal East district, ahead of the wedding. Lin took to social media to share photos from their visit. Randeep Hooda was seen inside the temple performing rites while dressed in a well-cut kurta. On the other hand, Lin chose a beautiful pink saree for the special occasion.

Randeep and Lin Laishram had kept their relationship private. They published a joint statement on Instagram confirming their wedding date some days ago. The statement read, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. IN LOVE AND LIGHT, LIN & RANDEEP.”
