Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Farrey, marking her acting debut in Bollywood. As such, Alizeh and Salman are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. She recently appeared on Salman’s popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 with the rest of the cast to promote the film. Salman gave Alizeh a tour of the set and recalled the advice he had received from his father.
While touring the set, Alizeh recalled visiting Salman on the sets of his films as a child and said that appearing on Bigg Boss 17 with him is a cherished moment for her. After this, Salman Khan recalled what his father Salim Khan had told him ahead of his debut.
Salman told Alizeh, “Jab Maine Pyar Kiya ki thi, tab Daddy ne, yaani ke aapke nana, jab unhone picture dekhi and he said tumko kya lagta hai tum star banoge? I replied to him nahin Daddy. He then said ‘Tum star banoge, tum cult star banoge aur tumko koi rok paayega toh woh tum khud ho. And today I am going to forward your nana’s advice to you (When I did Maine Pyar Kiya, that time my father and your grandfather saw the film and asked, ‘You think you will become a star? I said, ‘No dad.’ He then said, ‘You will become a cult star and if someone can stop you it is you).”
Salman then gave the same advice to Alizeh and said, “If not a star, you will become an actor as I’ve seen you work and you are doing good. If anyone who can stop you is yourself. Don’t let that happen to you.”
Farrey is directed by national award-winning director Soumendra Padhi. The high-school thriller drama is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Sunir Kheterpal, Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and Nikhil Namit. The film releases on November 24.
