Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3 Has 12 Action Sequences: Report

The upcoming film Tiger 3 is gearing up for a Diwali release and is poised to be an explosive showcase of Salman Khan’s action skills. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The anticipation for this highly awaited movie has reached unprecedented levels, as it plays a pivotal role in the ever-expanding spy universe of Yash Raj Films. With Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif leading the charge, this action-packed extravaganza is set to leave a significant impact in theatres. Even before its release, Tiger 3 made history by featuring the largest number of action sequences ever in a YRF spy universe film.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, filmmaker Maneesh Sharma claimed that the action sequences in Tiger 3 are on par with the spectacular action scenes found in major Hollywood films of our era. He highlights the film’s “relentless pace”, which is driven by the immediate danger faced by the dynamic duo, Tiger and Zoya. “We have 12 amazing action sequences each of which will keep you on the edge of your seat,” the director said. He is confident that these sequences will look world-class on IMAX, and he hopes that fans will take pride in witnessing their heroes in scenes that can compete with a global audience.

Further, Maneesh Sharma provided insight into the distinctions in the upcoming movie’s action when compared to its predecessors. “Salman and Katrina are Tiger and Zoya – India’s biggest action duo – but it’s not just for actions’ sake. This is their story. They’ve always been in conflict together, their relationship has grown as the stakes have grown. And now the stakes are even greater- so the action has to follow suit,” he revealed.

In addition to this, Maneesh Sharma also disclosed that they designed the film and its sequences in a way that the tempo and tension continuously build, leading to an incredible climax when you watch it in the theatre. “We built this film and its sequences so that when you go to the hall the tempo and tension keep rising to an amazing climax. I can’t wait to experience the film in cinemas with Tiger and Zoya’s fans,” he expressed, as quoted by Bollywood Hungama.

In the 2-minute and 50-second trailer, Salman Khan is portrayed as Tiger, India’s top agent, on a mission to protect both his family and the nation from a vengeful adversary (portrayed by Emraan Hashmi) seeking retribution for his own family’s tragedy. The clip offered an enticing glimpse into these heart-pounding scenes, which include intense hand-to-hand combat, a hail of bullets, exploding vehicles, and thrilling chase sequences.
