Shah Rukh Khan seemingly follows the motto that the left hand shouldn’t know what the right is doing as he keeps his generous charity acts away from the spotlight.

Shah Rukh Khan’s persona goes far beyond his iconic reel image. His real avatar has left an indelible mark in the hearts and souls of thousands of those who he helps every day through his commendable philanthropic endeavours. While SRK has often kept his charities away from the spotlight, a few of his charitable initiatives have come to the front and have proven that he’s a king of hearts on and off the screen. One of his charitable works is the non-profit organisation, Meer Foundation, which he founded. The foundation is dedicated to empowering women and aiding acid attack survivors, providing them with medical support, rehabilitation, and vocational training.

In 2022, Shah Rukh was voted one of the 50 greatest actors of all time in a readers’ poll by Empire, and in 2023, Time named him as one of the most influential people in the world.
