The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the results of the Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) 2023. BPSC has declared the results for Headmaster and School Teacher – Sangeet/ Kala and Mathematics for Classes 6 to 8. The results can be accessed on the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 86,557 teacher positions in the state.

The second phase of the BPSC TRE 2023 was held from December 7 to 15. The examination was conducted in two shifts on the first day and one shift on the second day. BPSC released the final answer key for the Bihar School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 2.0 on December 22 for Class 6-8 and Class 9-10. The final answer keys were declared for the Sangeet and Kala subjects of Class 9-10, as well as the language, social science, mathematics, and science subjects of Class 6-8.

BPSC TRE Results 2023: How to Download

Step 1: Go to the BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: Select “Results: School Teacher Competitive Examination” from the list of links.

Step 3: The PDF of the BPSC TRE result 2023 will be shown.

Step 4: Enter your roll number by pressing Ctrl+F to find it on the document.

Step 5: If you’ve been shortlisted, your roll number and district will be presented.

Step 6: Download and print the BPSC TRE result 2023 for future reference.

BPSC TRE Results 2023: Qualifying Marks

To qualify for the BPSC teacher recruitment examination, general category candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks. Those belonging to backward classes must secure 36.5 per cent, 34 per cent for extremely backward classes, and 32 per cent for reserved category candidates, females, and disabled persons.

The BPSC TRE selection process involves three stages: a written exam, document verification, and a medical examination. The written exam consists of objective-type questions, with a total of 220 questions carrying 220 marks. Candidates are allotted 4 hours to complete the examination. Candidates qualify for the second round based on their performance in the written exam.

Secondary School Teachers (Class 6 to 8) can expect a salary of Rs 28,000 per month, whereas Secondary School TGT Teachers (Class 9 to 10) are expected to get Rs 31,000 and Higher Secondary School PGT Teachers (Class 11 to 12) can get Rs 32,000.
