Applications for the Winter Session of the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) Internship Programme 2023 have begun. Students interested in applying for the NCGG internship programme can do so by visiting the official website at ncgg.org.in. It should be mentioned that the internship will not be completed in less than 8 weeks or more than 6 months. Those who complete the internship will be eligible for an experience certificate. This internship programme is intended to expose students to crucial public policy and governance challenges.
NCGG Internship Programme 2023 Winter Session: Eligibility criteria
All Indian students studying in India or abroad are eligible. The internships are available to students with a graduation degree and/or those pursuing post-graduation/PG Diploma and advanced academic degrees who want to intern as part of their dissertation/capstone project in their curriculum or who are awaiting their degree certificate after appearing in their final examination in the same academic year.
Students participating in 4 or 5-year law and engineering programmes may also apply for the Internship during their final year of study.
At the time of application, the candidate’s age must not be more than 30 years old. The applicant must also submit a letter of recommendation from the university/institution where they are enrolled.
NCGG Internship Programme 2023 Winter Session: How to apply
These instructions will help you complete the application procedure successfully-
Step 1: Navigate to NCGG’s official website at ncgg.org.in and go to the Training section.
Step 2: On the webpage, scroll down and click the ‘Apply Here’ button.
Step 3: The application window will display on the screen as soon as you click on it.
Step 4: Enter all of your personal information, educational information, contact information, and so on here.
Step 5: Upload the required documents
Step 6: Once the application form is completed, submit it and take a printout.
NCGG Internship Programme 2023 Winter Session: Selection Process
The selection process will be divided into two stages by the NCGG: preliminary screening of applications to shortlist candidates and personal interviews (online or offline) of those candidates. NCGG will form a committee to screen applications and conduct personal interviews.
The personal interview will be done based on the number of applications received, the Centre’s required intake for the respective month, and the domains/areas selected by the candidates, with prior information sent to the candidate via email. Following the screening process and personal interviews, a list of selected candidates will be announced, and successful candidates will be notified by email, along with the joining date.
