An anonymous user on Reddit took to the micro blogging site and shared how he was ‘harassed’ by a CISF guard at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The man, who goes by an anonymous name, shared how all of it started when he was stopped by the CISF guard at the entrance. The guard told him that neither his Aadhar Card printout, nor his mAadhar card were valid documents. “Even after showing him UIDAI Press Releases for both these documents, he was adamant and didn’t let me through. I then left that place and went through another gate,” the man wrote.
With this, he asked people if there is any legal recourse for this ‘blatant misuse of power’. He also asked why these people are on such a ‘power trip.’

Since being uploaded, the post has gathered multiple responses. “It’s just that some people are frustrated in their own lives and try to use whatever power they have to make other people miserable. Reminds me of my college’s security guards. Mfs were on a totally different level of power trip, their attitude towards students was something not even the principal had that,” commented a Reddit user. Another person wrote, “Well the same case was noticed by me with another person at hyd airport. Better you guys carry any original id to avoid any hassle.’
“I totally understand your frustration, but as I have attended multiple months of avsec training it is mandatory to have originals for verification. Airport is a zero tolerance zone. However as mentioned you had the printout but maybe according to his training and his level of understanding he didn’t consider that. A written letter to AVSEC training dept ll maybe highlight your issue and save others. Note: m-adhar is never accepted in airports,” clarified a Reddit user.
What is your take on the same?
