New Delhi: Leaders of the Left parties held a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Wednesday over alleged rigging and violence in West Bengal during Lok Sabha elections.

Despite high voters turnout across the state, elections in Bengal were marred by clashes betweeb the Left and Trinamool Congress workers.

After a clash with the TMC workers, Left Front chairman Biman Bose had alleged, ""the police is not doing its duty. What is the police doing?". The CPI(M) had also alleged that its party workers were thrashed at Cossipore in north Kolkata this afternoon by alleged TMC activists.
