New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says he benefits from the advice of two women - his wife Gursharan Kaur and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Both of them counsel him on different matters, Singh said in a jocular vein.
"I have the benefit of being advised by (both) the Congress President and my wife," Singh said when asked if he gets to hear good counsel of both the women.
"Both of them deal with different subjects," he said triggering peals of laughter at the press conference he addressed in Delhi on Monday, the first in the second term in office.
The Prime Minister said he was "happy" to get advices from both of them.
To a volley of questions about reported mistrust between him and the Congress chief, Singh strongly dismissed them and said he receives constant advice and guidance from her.
Singh said there is not an "iota of mistrust or distrust between me and the Congress President."
"(There is) no question of gap in thinking between me and the Congress President...She is the leader of the UPA and she is the President of the Congress party and I am a Congressman," Singh said.
He said he meets Gandhi once in a week to discuss the political developments as well as issues related to governance.
