All INDIA bloc parties in Rajya sabha will give notice on the NEET paper leak row

Amid the ongoing probe into the NEET-UG paper leak case, the Opposition on Thursday said it would raise the issue in the Parliament on Friday. All INDIA bloc parties will give notice on the NEET paper leak row in Rajya Sabha, while the Opposition plans to serve adjournment notice on the matter in Lok Sabha, sources informed.

However, it is important to note that the day is dedicated to a discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address to Parliament.

Following a meeting of INDIA alliance leaders at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said, “All the burning issues of the country, we will raise it (in the Parliament).”

President of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, Hanuman Beniwal also said, “The Opposition is united and it will raise the issues of NEET, Agniveer, inflation and unemployment and MSP in the Parliament.”

The development comes as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made its first arrests in the NEET-UG paper leak case and detained two men from Bihar earlier in the day. The two accused, identified as Manish Prakash and Ashutosh Kumar, were arrested from Patna.
