Angry Birds 2 game to be released on July 30

Rovio has revealed that Angry Birds 2 will be released on app stores worldwide later this month.

Angry Birds is one of the world's most popular mobile game apps, with 15 games and 3 billion downloads. There have been celebrity collaborations, adaptations and even a movie coming out in 2016.

Rovio, the entertainment media company who created the original Angry Birds, have not only revealed the release date of the new application on their website, but they've given a few clues about the sequel too: "Follow Angry Birds on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and YouTube during the next couple weeks and you'll see something a little piggy is going on..."
