New Delhi: Motorola is expected to take the wraps off two new devices; next-gen Moto G and Moto X smartphone, at its July 28 event.
Just days before the awaited event, images of the purported third-gen Moto X smartphone have surfaced online via Paul Faz on Google+ and Peru Android on Facebook.
Earlier speculations pointed to the third-gen Moto X coming with a 5.2-inch full 1080p HD display and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.
However, the leaked images show Motorola’s high-end model sporting a larger 5.5-inch display. It further shows the front camera accompanied by a flash for brighter selfies.
The Moto X is customizable via the Moto Maker online tool, allowing owners to choose the color of the phone's shell and buttons, to add a signature, to select its memory capacity and to choose a screen background or welcome message.
Motorola might also use this opportunity to unveil a new watch. It was only one year ago that the company unveiled the Moto 360, the connected watch with the sleek and round face that became so popular that it opened the door for the LG Watch Urbane, the Huawei Watch, or, in a slightly different genre, the Withings Activite. Its screen resolution could even get a bump to a 360x360 pixel full screen.
The event, organized by Motorola, will take place simultaneously in New Delhi, London, Sao Paulo, New York.
